Husband has to face many difficulties in order to divorce his wife. He cannot directly apply to the court for a divorce. He has to apply for divorce in his VDC or municipality. After proper investigation, and if the reason is true, the file will be sent to the court. After that, the judge will decide to approve the divorce or not.
Conditions that a husband can give divorce
Husband has a right to divorce his wife if his wife stays separately for 3 years or more and is found to be engaged in acts that can take her husband’s wife.

Wife has right to divorce her husband if her husband brings another wife and does not care about his initial wife for 3 years or more and is found to be engaged in acts that can take his wife’s life.
